ENFORCE at the 2nd Citizen Science Congress of Barcelona

On November 17th and 18th, Vanessa-Sarah Salvo and Jaume Piera of the ICM-CSIC presented both a posterand participated in a dialogue together with other experiences in the 2nd Citizen Science Congress. The team displayed and discussed the practical tools and collaborative strategies being developed in Barcelona’s Living Lab facing the selected issues for the environmental compliance at European and local level.  

The session highlighted how Barcelona is leveraging the ENFORCE framework to address critical coastal challenges, e.i. marine biodiversity, cigarette butts and wet wipes, by means the community-generated data for environmental compliance.
